Senior Electrical Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the power and lighting design and engineering of building projects.

What the Electrical Engineer Will Do:

• Develop power distribution layouts, interconnections, and optimize equipment sizing.
• Create innovative designs for lighting, photometrics, control, and low voltage systems.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on design submissions.
• Perform critical short circuit and fault current calculations to ensure safety and compliance.
• Conduct on-site field verifications to ensure design accuracy.
• Oversee construction administration tasks to maintain project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 7+ years of progressive electrical design experience with buildings
• Professional Engineer, Minnesota preferred
• Understanding of electrical standards, codes, concepts
