Now hiring a passionate and driven Graduate Architect who is eager to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of architecture. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse commercial construction projects while receiving mentoring and support towards becoming a licensed architect.

 

  • Assist in the development of architectural designs from concept to completion.
  • Work collaboratively with senior architects and project managers on various commercial projects in a studio environment.
  • Prepare architectural drawings, models, and presentations using software such as Revit, SketchUp, and occasionally AutoCAD.
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Contribute to the preparation of construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Engage in professional development activities, including training sessions and workshops.

 

Mentoring and Support for Licensure:

You will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one mentoring from experienced, licensed architects, offering a valuable learning experience. This will allow you to gain exposure to a broad range of projects and challenges in the field, enhancing your practical understanding and skills.

 

Additionally, you will receive assistance with preparation for the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE), ensuring you are well-equipped for this crucial step in your professional journey. Further support will be provided through guidance in the Architectural Experience Program (AXP), a key component of your career development.

 

Lastly, you will be assisted in building a professional portfolio for licensure, an essential element in showcasing your capabilities and achievements in architecture.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 1-4 years of experience.
  • Strong design and technical skills and proficiency in architectural software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Motivated to pursue architectural licensure.
  • Prior professional experience or an internship in an architectural firm is a plus.

 

You will have the ability to join an established Twin Cities architecture design firm and gain experience with a wide variety of project types- hospitality, civic, bioscience, retail, municipal, institutional and commercial projects.
