We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, coupled with an interest in building design and construction. Working closely with seasoned professionals, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and construction of a wide array of building projects.

Structural Analysis and Design:  The Structural Engineer I will assist in performing structural analysis and design of building elements including foundations, columns, beams, floors, and roofs using various materials such as concrete, steel, wood, and masonry. Utilize software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, etc.) for structural modeling, analysis, and detailing.

Documentation and Drafting:  Prepare and revise engineering drawings, plans, and specifications. Ensure all documents and designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards.

Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration of structural elements into overall project design. Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions on design solutions, challenges, and progress.

Site Visits and Inspections: Conduct site visits to inspect and assess conditions and monitor progress of ongoing construction projects. Assist in the preparation of structural observation reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 0-5 years of experience in structural engineering or related areas. Experience in building design is a plus.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, Tekla, etc.).
